    5. Never take water during the meal. It dilutes the digestive acids and completely spoils your digestion.

    6. Never drink water during a meal. It will dilute your digestive juices to explain it simply. If thirsty, 30 mins before and after food will do fine. The time gap isn't a rule but a safe interval. If one starts practicing it's easy to feel the good digestion and also the time intervals we need without water.

    2. Haha. That's right. You can drink water when you are thirsty but not as a habit or copying from others. Many drink water during meals just as a habit without being thirsty. For the records, Hunger and thirst never comes at the same time.

    1. That's a myth. Failed science, or actually interpretation of it. Just think about it for a second, don't you think our body is more intelligent than being to late with the signal of thirst that's being adapted in our bodies for maybe millions of years? Isn't it the same with hunger then?

Of course our body signals thirst when it's in need of water, but then to drink acoording to this need is NOT too late, it's just to drink when we need, like fueling a car when the meter signals low.

    2. That depends on what you meen by late. To meen it's a little bit too late is a myth. Actually failed interprtation of science.

Just think about it for a second. Don't you think that our body that's been designed or adopted for maybe millions of years is more intelligent than to signal thirst when it's too late? Shouldn't it be the same with hunger then?

Of course thirst means that our bodies is in need of water but that's not the same as being late to refill it. It's the same with the fuel sensor of a car, we fuel it when it signals low because it means the car needs more fuel to keep going, but that is not not late as the meter is programmed to signal a bit before that, not a bit after. Our bodies is not less intelligent than that.

  12. Drinking water after a meal with meat will dilute gastric juices and will cause cramps, gas, partially digested meat can cause constipation and other health risks. Drinking water first thing upon waking is best to aid digestion. Sipping red wine with red meats aids in digestion, white for white meats and Rose for fish. It's not a good idea to drink water before bed. It should be consumed at least 4 hours before bed and 3 hours after a meal with meat.

Digestive juices are very important for breaking down our foods. Partially digested foods will result in an addition to Rolaids, Tums or Alka Selzer.
